Smoking also breaks down your collagen and elastin causing lines, wrinkles, and sagging skin.
4. Essential fatty acids, omega 3s and omega 6s, help protect and nourish your skin cells. Fish oil and flax seed oil are rich sources of these important acids and fight inflammation within your cells promoting healthier skin.
5. Eat antioxidant rich foods. Antioxidants are found in fruits, vegetables, nuts, and beans and help protect you skin cells from damaging free radical attacks. Free radicals occur when you are exposed to the sun, pollution, unhealthy foods, and toxins.
