Conservationists at the Amboseli National Park in Kenya received a call that one of the female African elephants was acting frantic, because her baby had fallen in a shallow well and could not get out. They hopped in two jeeps and recorded their rescue efforts.

As you can see from the video, one of the drivers, resident scientist Dr. Vicki Fishlock, used only her voice to drive away the mother, who was attempting to sit on her jeep in an effort to ward off the would-be rescuers. After the mother was scared off, the video shows a makeshift rescue of the cute (but very large) toddler.

The best part of the video is watching the baby elephant run for mom after the rescuers' efforts paid off. An adorable reunion guaranteed to put a smile on your face today.
