T-Mobile BlackBerry Bold 9780 Coming on Nov. 17
If you’re a Blackberry fan then T-Mobile has a new phone just for you.
T-Mobile announced the BlackBerry Bold 9780 yesterday. The handset will feature the BlackBerry 6 operating system which is rumored to have a more user-friendly interface. The device will also have a 2.4-inch screen, a QWERTY keyboard, an optical trackpad, a 624 MHz processor, 512 MB of internal memory, a 2 GB microSD memory card which can be user-replaced with one up to 32 GB, a 5.0-megapixel camera with LED flash, GPS, Bluetooth & Wi-Fi.
The new BlackBerry will, like other BlackBerries, support UMA, or Wi-Fi calling, which allows users to send and receive calls & text over any open Wi-Fi network. The handset will also be a world phone, which will allow users to use the phone in the US as well as overseas.
The smartphone will also have access to corporate email account as well as web-based email such as Gmail. The BlackBerry 9780 will also have the BlackBerry-only chat client BlackBerry Messenger, as well as AOL instant Messenger, Google Talk, Windows Live Messenger & Yahoo Messenger.
The smartphone will also have a new and improved web browser that is supposed to have faster page loading & tabbed browsing.
