Nokia Lumia 710 Windows Phone Announced
At Nokia World 2011, Nokia CEO Stephen Elop introduced a lineup of Windows Phone 7 devices including the Lumia 710. The Lumia 710 is meant to be a slightly less powerful offering than the just announced Lumia 800 model, but still has the same 1.4GHz Processor within.
The Nokia Lumia 710 has a 3.7inch ClearBlack AMOLED touchscreen with 800 x 480 resolution, same as the Lumia 800 also. Here's where the differences start to happen from the Lumia 800. Within the 710 is 8GB of internal storage, and a 5 megapixel rear camera with 720p HD video record capabilities at 30fps. The battery is a little smaller than the Lumia 800 at 1,300mAh. The 710 also has the option of swapping thye rear covers with different color selections, though it's unclear if the device will ship with any extra covers currently. It may be an extra accessory purchase.
The Nokia Lumia 710 (codenamed 'Sabre') runs Windows Phone 7.5 Mango, and will be available in Hong Kong, India, Russia, Singapore and Taiwan by the end of 2011 for €270 outright. Along with the Lumia 800, the 710 will land in North America around the beginning of 2012. Continue below for the Full Press Release and videos.
