iTunes 10.5 Update Available Now - iOS 5 update drops Wednesday
The latest version of iTunes is now available for download from Apple. This latest version is iTunes 10.5, which will bring with it a few needed features to ensure it’s counterpart, iOS 5, has no trouble updating when users plug in their devices Wednesday October 12th 2011.
iTunes will add the ability to sync your iOS devices using your Wi-Fi network, as well as keep a history of your previously downloaded and purchased media files. This will allow you to easily and quickly download those same files onto other iOS devices on your network without having to go through the iTunes Store again. To top it off, iTunes now comes with iCloud integration, allowing you to simply access the iCloud for your media files anywhere you are, without having to connect your device to iTunes physically.
iOS 5 will bring with it a number of features, but the big one that most are excited about is the iCloud functionality, allowing you to update your device without being connected to a PC or Mac computer. With all of these updates, I keep wondering how Apple is going to better their own creations in the future. There’s not much left to top.
