Seagate's New 3 TB External Drive
Not so long ago, well, maybe 15 year, but that's still not SO long, a 1 GB hard drive was a real luxury. Heck, I can remember trying to decide if I should spend the extra money to upgrade to a 512 MB hard drive not so long ago. Now computers come with 4 GB or RAM alone, and storage is off the charts.
Especially now; Seagate has just introduced a 3 TB external hard drive. Yes, 3 TERAbytes. It's not only the very first external drive to store that much data, it sells for only $250, which is dirt cheap for that kinda space.
Stock units come with USB 2.0 connectivity, but USB 3.0 and Firewire interfaces are available. You can get this monster directly from Seagate and from "select retailers."
At last - no need to decide between family photos and your porn collection.
