Google’s I/O Event Goes Down Better Than Expected
Business giant Google recently had a press event (I/O) to show what was going on behind their doors.
People were expecting something good but some announcements may have turned the industry on its head with the announcement of the 'Chromebook’ ; a laptop which runs on Google’s own OS and claims to have such features as a boot time of only 8 seconds!
It also has the ability to store all data from the laptop on the web so if something were to happen to it you could recover your data from any other Chromebook.
There is also a 3 year subscription deal which is set to roll out with these machines which will be available only for business and education with business being 28$ per user per month and education being 20$ per user per month. This is quite a good deal even though the machines aren’t the best around and will probably be outdated by this time next year.
