Finally, A Company To Stop Online Web Browse Caching
It is common practice nowadays for some companies and advertisers to track our online surfing habits whether we give them permission to do it or not. Most people just abhor being tracked for obvious reasons because some of these advertisers and other third parties track, clutter, and slow down our Web browsing experience.
Well, I have good news for you. According to a report, there's a company that is created and determined to stop all that tracking activities being done to us without our knowledge.
Ladies and gentlemen please allow me to introduce to you, Disconnect.me, a company founded by former Google employees to protect people's privacy.
On their website it says "Disconnect makes the Web your business not theirs. We don't collect your IP address or any other personal info, except your email address if you ask us to write you".
The company has you install a plug-in for Chrome that gives users control over their privacy by stopping sites from tracking their online Web browsing activities. Their mission is to "put you back in charge and let you decide who does what with your online data" because companies are "taking, analyzing, and auctioning off things like the history of webpages you go to and searches you do, without even telling you".
And finally, the question if this is now the answer to end people's online privacy concerns and issues remains to be seen.
