Drumbi Launches iPhone & Android App
Drumbi just launched their iPhone and Android apps that are aimed to change not only the way you interact with your family, friends, and business colleagues, but the way you interact with service providers and businesses.
Drumbi CEO, Shervin Talieh, spoke on the company's behalf at Techcrunch Disrupt in San Francisco yesterday. According to Talieh, "there is an opportunity to completely rethink the dated, existing conventions pertaining to the phone."
From the consumer perspective, you can let friends know why you are calling, where you are calling from, and the urgency. Instead of a text or leaving a missed call on purpose, easily inform people the reason for your call with an extremely simple way to call back and track everything.
With Drumbi for Business, the opportunities are extremely exciting. The goal of Drumbi is to allow companies (eg. banks, insurance companies, etc.) to integrate their customer's data securely so that these companies are notified when a customer has an inquiry and can respond accordingly. Not only will the customer service representative have the customer's information (eg. account numbers, social security number, history), but the customer will initiate the interaction without having to make any phone calls or sit on hold while punching a seemingly endless number of buttons.
An app that can expedite waiting on hold or pushing 0 until I can actually talk to somebody? Sign me up!
