App Review: Labyrinth 2
In the game you tilt your device so that the ball moves through a labyrinth, dodging obstacles on the way to the finish hole. These obstacles vary from destroying your ball to maneuvering it uncontrollably, such as bumpers, magnets, and fans. Other obstacles are cannons, duplicators, re-sizers, doors, merry go rounds, and lasers, to name a few.
The game offers an unbelievable amount of levels due to the “create” section where anyone can make a level of their own and post it online for others to play, rate, and favorite. You can also find the top 25 rated, downloaded, and played levels. The levels range in difficulty from easy to hard, both off and online. In my opinion this feature gives a very addictive drive for you to become better. You also have the option of playing with others through WiFi and Bluetooth.
There is also an awards section where the more awards you earn, the different colors of balls you can pick from. You start out with a steel ball, and can earn marble, bronze, silver and lastly a gold ball. An example of one of the awards is to hit a bumper 2000 times, which is deceivingly easy. The game also shows you how long you have played, which you will find adds up fairly quickly as a result of the game being so insanely fun and addicting. Each award shows you the percent you have completed, which I find really comes in handy.
Labyrinth 2 comes with 21 official level packs, ranging from five to ten levels in each pack. There are 7 easy level packs, 7 medium, and 7 hard. Another amazing feature is the Ghost ball. The Ghost ball feature lets you see your ball from the last time you played the level. Don’t worry, it is faded so you don’t get mixed up and confused.Continued on the next page
