App Review: Jelly Car 3 - Page 2
Since everything is made of jelly, the game gets a really cool graphical look that is very pleasing to watch. Jelly Car 3 is a sidescroller, so everything is 2-D, but has an almost a 3-D look. The music is awesome, and very calming, which is good because some of the levels are quite challenging, at least until you figure out where you have to go. Each level is basically a big world with the finish hidden somewhere.
I think that Jelly Car 3 is perhaps the first app I've reviewed that actually has good sound effects. Every time you collide with something, move, or really do anything, some sort of noise is made, and it's always a good noise. I especially like when you tap your car to make yourself grow and a sound effect of a person going "whoa" is emitted. I found it quite funny.
Jelly Car 3 boasts 50 levels, each with two different finishes, and all have a different theme, plus Disney has promised more levels to come in future updates. There are also 27 Game Centre achievements to give you some extra things to do. You can customize your car by picking between various shapes, i.e. tank, bus, UFO, and various colours and designs. You can also make your own design. Being able to customize your car is more fun then you might think, and it definitely gives the game some great extra bonus content.
All in all Jelly Car 3 is an awesome, family friendly, good time app that is definitely worth paying a buck for. I recommend it to everyone, and good luck getting three stars on every level.
