T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy 4G Leak
It looks like T-Mobile USA and Samsung are planning on bringing a new handset to the carrier: the Samsung Vibrant 4G.
According to leaked documents from Tmonews.com, the Samsung Vibrant 4G will be able to run on T-Mobile USA’s 4G network and could reach speeds of up to 21Mbps. The handset will also feature Android 2.2, a 4.0-inch Super AMOLED touchscreen, a 1GHz processor, 16GB of memory expandable to 32 GB, a 5.0 MP camera without flash, a HD video camcorder and a front-facing camera.
Like other current 4G offerings, the new Vibrant will have T-Mobile TV, which will allow customers to watch and stream TV to their handset for an extra $10 a month, but will also come with the movie Inception pre-installed. The handset will also have Qik, the video chat program already available on other T-Mobile phones, which works over both Wi-Fi and T-Mobile’s 4G network. DoubleTwist Air Sync, which lets users wirelessly sync music, photos and videos, will also come pre-installed.
The Samsung Vibrant 4G will include the Amazon Kindle application that will allow consumers to purchase and read digital books from their phones as well as Slacker, which is an application that allows users to listen to free personalized Internet radio stations and discover new artists.
So far T-Mobile hasn’t made any official announcement for the Samsung Galaxy 4G, and it's unknown when it will be available.
