    Feast vs. Famine

    http://vandersluys.ca/ ?p=10583

It came to mind today that it would be interesting to do a study (or read a book) on feasting in the Bible and how it relates to the unquestionable concern for the poor and needy in scripture.  I had a conversation today about expensive meals out and inevitably the subject of how many starving children

Asking Too Little; Demanding Too Much

    http://www.davidfoster.tv/ asking-too-little-demanding-too-much/

I don’t know about you but I am really sick and tired of books and articles talking about how lazy, insecure, and undisciplined the American Christian is. Too many people are moaning about the lack of commitment and discipline as we respond to polls taken by various organizations.

    My tithing experience

    http://www.christianpf.com/ my-tithing-experience/

I just finished reading a great post by James about how tithing can increase your income. And it got me thinking about my own personal story of when I started tithing and the things that followed. Starting to tithe I don’t exactly remember when I started to tithe - probably about 7-8 years ago.

Automated Tithing: A New Way to Give

    http://ptmoney.com/ 2008/ 08/ 15/ automated-tithing-a-new-way-to-give/

The long wallet is long gone.  I don’t carry a checkbook anymore.  I stick to cash and credit/debit cards for making daily purchases.  Still, there’s one place I always end up needing my checkbook: at Church, at least once a month, for tithing.
