http://lucire.com/ insider/ 20081006/ wednesdays-child-on-lm/If you look at the shoot ‘Wednesday’s Child’ in issue 26 of Lucire in New Zealand (photographed by Doug Rimington, styled by Sara Smeath, make-up and hair by Kaori Harigae, and modelled by Clemency of Chadwick Models), you might think these are familiar.

Cross stitch, quilting, goals
http://katesquilting.blogspot.com/ 2008/ 10/ cross-stitch-quilting-goals.htmlThe problem with this cross-stitch - or rather, the problem with the way I've been photographing it is that each photo is a different angle... Anyway. Here's a view from about 3 weeks ago (left) and another from 2 weeks ago (centre) and finally, tonight - I didn't take a photo last week, as I'd only done about one box.

Halloween Fairy Update
http://www.thedailymel.com/ 2008/ 10/ 05/ halloween-fairy-update-2/I won’t be working on my fairy today, so I thought I would post my latest update on her. I did work on her for about half the day yesterday at the all day stitch at my LNS. I spent the better part of an hour fighting with the Kreinik braid for the moon. It kept knotting and twisting and just wouldn’t seem to lay properly.

All I have left to do is finish my name square and it will be ready to go.

Hallelujah!!!!
http://shakatak66.wordpress.com/ 2008/ 10/ 04/ hallelujah/A few hours glued to the TV set with a needle in hand, and I’ve finally put the last stitches in that dratted sampler. I have to admit it doesn’t look too bad now it’s all finished, but I’m really glad it’s all over now!

the big draw day 1 & 2
http://hiddenart.wordpress.com/ 2008/ 10/ 03/ the-big-draw-day-1-2/Day 1 Day 2 So I’ll probably be posting most of my drawings a day late for The Big Draw 2008, unless I happen to have one of those unusually quiet days, a rare gem. Another fun project I completed today was this: I had been working on this cross stitch project for much too long.
