    Recently I've met with two people who are responsible for their corporate website marketing. One was from a pure play online financial brokerage company the other from a car rental company where most of their sales come through their website.

    While searching for information on Cognitive Psychology, Social Networks, and Social Network Analysis, I stumbled across an old (circa 2002) yet informative page on Social Network Analysis. The author, Peter Morville, focused in on Malcolm Gladwell’s Tipping Point characters, namely Connectors and Mavens.

    Peter Morville started life as a librarian and it shows quite strongly in his work and his frequent references to librarianship.     Apple Home Page Search

    This morning I went to the Apple home page to find one of their commercials. I went to search and noticed that the behavior mimicked Apple’s own operating system and the “suggest” features available in browser search boxes. What I liked is that it not only offered suggested terms but displayed media previews along with the term.
