Before I came to the United States, the concept of letting a child choose was a very alien one. I know that makes us sound like a bunch of tyrants but those were once some of your parenting concepts in, like, times of yore. Sadly, they are still our present-day philosophies.

When it comes to talking about Italy, food is everything - sitting around a table after a long day working or at the beach, it is food that brings the family together. Discussions about life, family matters, Italian politics and the world as a whole are quite popular during meal times when extended families sit for hours.

As many of us know life is an uncertain proposition at best. The older that we get the more problems that we face. Some of these problems can be solved if we have a good amount of healthy activity in our lives. In addition having many different interests and hobbies can help to make your senior years much happier.

Kat writes…. I love baking and creating exciting new dishes, and having a child has added a whole new level to my enjoyment. These hands and feet cookie cutters are right up my street. BabyGeek may be a little young for cookies but I am thinking these will add some fun to oat cakes, savoury puffs, and plain old sandwiches to name but a few.
