just read about Kimono Kops in 'Sup Magazine and have to say that i am loving his "dancepop fantasy" remixes. kimono kops is living in Bremen, Germany and writes: Important for me is to like, or even love, the original but nevertheless take it to a different destination.

I have had a vague interest in the Madame Tussauds wax museum downtown for a while now. But I haven’t been willing to both brave the tourists and cough up $20 for a ticket.  It turns out that Madame Tussauds will be offering $1 admission from October 8 through the 11th.

according to ACL, patagonia is collaborating with urban outfitters to re-release those circa 1988 neon colored fleeces that i love so much. if money can buy happiness its definitely via one these guys. i promise that the zany colors will brighten up your groggy mornings.

a NEW Tim Burton ALICE IN WONDERLAND is being filmed with Johnny Depp as the mad hatter (yessss) and Mia Wasikowska (below right) as alice. the movie will mix CGI with live action, so it won't be ready until 2010. i think it was a good move when johnny d retired the whole badboy thing and vowed to only accept roles in films his children would enjoy...

This 10x10ft modernist cabin structure by Casey Brown Architecture is located in the mountains of Australia. The Wall-E-esque structure is protected by copper sheathing that may be removed during warm months. Water is provided by a cistern (a unit that collects water from rainfall and stores it for later use), and water is heated and cooled by "passive" techniques.

Here's a good article that my cousin, Alex Frecon, wrote for the Badger Herald. Alex is a junior majoring in English and creative writing at University of Wisconsin-Madison. He also likes mushroom stamps. Just kidding about the mushroom stamps, but he is the little perv who sent me that link earlier because he thought it was so hilarious.

We had a good time. Madison had two options: Hang out here with Pennie while Noah went to skating or go to skating with Pennie. She opted for the second because she wanted to see her friends and also wanted to show her friends to Pennie and vice versa (Pennie’s met them before at our Chanukah party and then again at Madison’s birthday party and some of them she’s known longer than that).
