When it comes to finger food, there’s one major box-office hit for my family. CALAMARI. And you can tell how much we love it just by seeing how often we order it whenever we eat out. Calamari at Cafe Luna (Naples, FL) Calamari at 15th St. Fisheries (Ft.

    LaPiS15: Golden

    http://myparty.mrsworkinggirl.com/ 2008/ 09/ 27/ lp15-golden/

Golden nuggets, golden fries, golden transfat, and golden heartburn from the golden arches. If I eat this everyday, I don’t think I’ll ever reach fifty golden years. Not a very happy meal, I guess,  hehe. (PS. I’m very sorry for the lighting.

    LaPiS16: Rice

    http://myparty.mrsworkinggirl.com/ 2008/ 10/ 02/ lapis16-rice/

As it is, you can’t be truly pinoy unless you eat rice. How can you not eat lechon kawali without rice? Pinakbet and menudo without rice? Lumpiang sariwa and pancit without rice? Nestea without rice? It’s impossible. I am pinoy, so there’s just no way. Simple but essential. So, hello diet pills.

    Lasang Pinoy Sundays - Rice

    http://kitchenmaus.blogspot.com/ 2008/ 09/ lasang-pinoy-sundays-rice.html

Filipinos eat rice at every meal, for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. As a staple food, most pinoys won't go through the day without rice...This could be the reason why Japanese food is very likeable to us, especially when packed in a bite size maki complete with rice, viand and more!(Son1 with his

La.Pi.S WK#15: RICE! RICE! RICE! Last Friday, my Haligi and I headed over to Greenbelt 5's Fish Out of Water. Just like its "relatives"--The Red Crab and Hula-Hula, the restaurant boasts of an interesting line-up of seafood dishes served in the most imaginative manner.
