Saturday mornings are slow. I usually take my time waking up. I shouldn’t be gloating about this because it’s so unhealthy but I have eggs and parathas every single day. I must have added on atleast 5-8 pounds since I’ve been here. And I have been slacking off on my crunches.

In my previous post, The 20s Money Retirement Plan, we talked about the goal of having a portfolio that pays $260,000 a year in dividends during retirement. 35 years from now, $260,000 a year would be the estimated equivalent of $100,000 a year today (due to inflation).

We've had some great submissions for possible names so far - thanks to all that have sent in their ideas! While we have some very usable options, I wanted to repost about the contest in case people had missed this. We'd like to have some options up for voting in the next two weeks, so the deadline for submission will be May 20th.

You need it in recession, you need it in inflation and you need it for just about every thing. Every new born is competing for it. Non-renewable energy resources are limited and at the moment feasible then altenrate or renewable energy resources. I think the energy sector as a whole will outperform the general market in next year.

I just read another Yahoo Finance article that gave the same repetitive lesson on investing: diversify, diversify, diversify.  As far as I’m concerned, you have two options in investing. The first option is diversification; however, not diversification how most recommend which is buying a bunch of different stocks in a bunch of different industries.
