This site is very informative and I learned a lot about music history. I find this kind of music very powerful and expressive. I believe that King David would like this music.

Picking and Choosing at IBMA’s World of Bluegrass

Not even once during IBMA’s World of Bluegrass week was I able to pull an all-nighter, but that didn’t stop me from enjoying a full week of music.

Forgotten Artists: Ernest V. “Pop” Stoneman and The Stoneman Family

While I am not sure that even Ernest Stoneman (May 25, 1893 - June 14, 1968) represents the dawn of recorded country music, he has a far better claim to it than do Jimmie Rodgers and the Carters.
