For reasons we're seemingly unaware of, we counted not one, not two, not three, but FOUR broadcasters sporting ho-hum solid silver ties during coverage of John McCain's debutante worthy evening at the Republican National Convention last night.

For those who missed it, I’ve decided to highlight some of the more noteworthy moments of last evening’s Republican National Convention final night for you. Aren’t you lucky? Both sides have met, looked over their schedules, and finally come to a conclusion. That’s right, America’s two greatest political parties have at long last worked together to reach a decision: after weeks and weeks, they’ve finally agreed to a schedule for the Presidential and Vice Presidential debates.

It seems that media and Obama surrogates' (but I repeat myself) trash-talking and demonizing have lowered expectations of Sarah Pailn's speech tonight to the "Can she get out a complete sentence?" level. My sense is that this will work to her advantage, bigtime.
