The Corcoran Group posted listings and a rendering (above) today for a renovated townhouse at 45 State Street and a new home to be built on a vacant lot at the corner of State and Hicks that is listed as 314 Hicks Street.  While the homes are being sold separately, they are being marketed in tandem on a website posted by the owner.

State Street Corp. announced that David Puth has been named to a newly created position as head of State Street’s investment research, securities finance and trading activities worldwide. Puth will report to Jay Hooley, president and chief operating officer of State Street.

Massachusetts plumbing and air conditioning supply company F.W. Webb Company is suing State Street Bank and Trust Company, State Street Global Advisors (SSgA), and CitiStreet. F.W. A self-proclaimed golf pro from Woburn found himself in the rough early this morning at the Black Rose Bar on State Street: According to an on-duty security guard at the bar, Mr. Gaffney used a golf club to smash the bar's windows.
