I feel if the wacky and wild Web was around during Bob Knight’s heyday, he would have been fired from IU in, oh, about 1984. (Although, this theory presupposes that kids and parents of the ’80s act like those of today, which, they must certainly did not.

Bob Knight is one of the most entertaining coaches in any sport of all time. From his smart ass comments, to his dedicated work ethic, to his uncontrollable temper tantrums, he is quite the entertainer on and off the court.

I average about two rounds of golf a year. It’s not that I don’t like golf, it’s that the game requires an insane amount of dedication and hours upon hours of frustration for you to get good at it. Even then, a botched putt or errant drive grinds your gears. It’s a never ending battle with yourself.

So far I’ve had a few ideas of how LBS could scrape together some funds and put them to good use. At first it was to buy one of Michael Vick’s pitbulls and make it the official site mascot. Then it was to pool together some money to buy the naming rights to Candlestick Park.
