As you can tell by the title, Google’s Website Optimizer department has been busy. Tom Leung gives WebProNews the scoop on all their new features. First, through experiment pruning, users can disable any page that’s not doing as well as was hoped for.

Google have enhanced their website optimizer to allow advertisers to disable low performing ad variations and send the remaining traffic to higher performing ones. Previously, to achieve this, advertisers would have to stop the entire test (and lose all test data), so the improvement is a big timesaver for webmasters.

Website Optimizer has added new features to its site. Announced on the Inside AdWords blog, these new features include: Experiment Pruning A/B Offline Validation More Intuitive Reporting Experiment pruning allows you to disenable elements or combinations on your web pages and stop receiving data on them.
