When postage prices went up on May 12th, "Express Mail" changed to zones versus flat rate. So if you are sending an "Express Mail" to a nearby zone you may actually save a couple bucs.

Book Orders Sent Out

(About a 2 1/2 hour drive from my home to the border.) Had lunch and arrived at The UPS Store just as the truck had finished unloading. Unpacked, signed, stuffed and sealed 250+ books into envelopes.

Postage Stamp Price Increase

I noticed the price of each stamp increased to 42 cents. I really didn’t take too much notice of the price, because I can never keep up with the seemingly eternal miniscule price increases the postal service keep throwing at us.

So I’m walking on sunshine to the post office in my brand new, bitchin’ turquoise Vans when I spot my inner monologue on display–poster format. The first ever word I learned was shishkabob (not even an English word but nonetheless a tasty word).
