A quick follow up to last week's Hackonomics discussion, where we looked at how little alleged wealth inequality there is in America. Part of our critique was that dividing the US into quintiles was a variation of the median/average error, and only served to hide the exhorbitantly greater wealth, income and consumption of the top few percent.

That "up to 150 miles per hour" should include an asterisk indicating the average speed between D.C. and Boston is 72 mph. See, the train's max speed is contingent on track conditions, which change mile to mile.

Review: This is an excellent sitcom from the sixties. Barbara Eden as Jeannie was beautiful and funny and Larry Hagman was great portraying the exasperated master.

Much to my delight tonight I received my beta invitation to try the new television streaming service Hulu. It is an ad supported video streaming site backed by networks such as Bravo, NBC, Fox, FX, IGN, SciFi, Sundance, TVG, Universal, and USA plus a few others.

Ever heard of Plum TV? Neither had I, until reading a piece in the very informative Jack Myers Media Business Report. The Report is only one offering from Myers' highly engaging site. I met Jack at the TED Conference two years ago and recently ran into him again at the wf360 event at the NYSE.
