The severe financial crisis and resulting worldwide economic recession we have been forecasting for years are finally unleashing their fury.

    Homecoming

    http://campuslife101.honadvblogs.com/ 2008/ 10/ 06/ homecoming/

It’s the beginning of a new month and now it’s time for the annual tradition of homecoming — a time for schools to welcome back alumni and hold all kinds of activities. I find myself looking back on my high school days, which actually wasn’t THAT long ago, and reminiscing about the spirit rallies, competitions, homecoming court elections and of course, the BIG game.

    Maglalatik

    http://kwentongpinas.wordpress.com/ 2008/ 10/ 06/ maglalatik/

October 6, 2008 Maglalatik or Magbabao is a war dance representing in a picture a battle between the Moros and the Christian over the latik, the remainder left after the coconut milk has been boiled. At sometime in the course of Spanish rule, with coconut shells as tools, the people of the barrios of Loma and Zapote in the town of Biñan in the province of Laguna danced the Maglalatik.

    American Tradition Bedspread

    http://mattresszine.com/ mattress-accessories/ american-tradition-bedspread/

All around the fabric are pine trees and vines all woven into a candlewick/terry construction. This bedspread has already been preshrunk and may be washed via machine.
