    Heard From The Tables

    Raising Tolerant Children

    http://candalyse.wordpress.com/ 2008/ 05/ 13/ raising-tolerant-children/

While shopping with your child, you notice sudden fear and tears welling up in your young one’s eyes. You see what the frightened and confused child sees: a little girl with a large hairy birthmark across most of her face. In that moment, as a parent, you have several choices. You opt to…. ..

… and we thought we should detect , and low and behold, Intrusion Detection was born! But is was not enough…  we smartend up and we thought we should prevent , and Intrusion Detection was born. … but we saw it was not really working all of the time and we smartend up and we got back to square one, knowing there would be intrusions but now we are getting ready for them!

    Sobering Thoughts from Appalachia

    http://runesmith.blogspot.com/ 2008/ 05/ sobering-thoughts-from-appalachia.html

In the heat of the ObamaMania over at DailyKos comes this singularly beautiful post from a native Appalachian pleading with her fellow Democrats for understanding and inclusion for West Virginia and Kentucky.
