Busy weekend and belated ‘thanks’
http://www.nitallica.org/ 2008/ 05/ 11/ busy-weekend-and-belated-thanks/I swear, I think our weekends are getting to be busier than our weekdays! ;P Friday was pretty hectic, and add the bad weather on top of that, it made for an interesting start to the weekend. Jessie’s karate test was Saturday — she’s now moved up from orange belt to a purple belt! Jim and I took pictures and filmed, so hopefully those will be up soon.

Feeding Poison
http://medicine.com.my/ mydobbs/ ?p=653That’s exactly how my son acts whenever I give him medicines. I mentioned this in a earlier post, and all those skills came in to play when the son fell ill recently with a urinary tract infection. Interestingly enough I was the one who diagnosed the condition based on his symptoms of dysuria, incomplete bladder emptying and later on, fever, as well as the appearance of the urine.

http://hizecool.com/ 2008/ 05/ 12/ quote-of-the-day-42/If you’ve had a relationship with someone and you try to become friends afterwards, it’s very difficult. Because you know each other so well it’s like two magician trying to entertain each other. The one goes, ‘Look, a rabbit.’ The other goes, ‘So?… I believe this is your card.’ ‘Look, why don’t we

http://blog.graceroots.org/ 2008/ 05/ perfection-part-2-of-2-good-news.htmlI'll start this one off with some brief technicalities and then get on with it. The words that are translated as "perfect" or "perfected" originate as two Greek words: Teleios (Strong's 5046) is the adjective form of the word, and it's used more commonly.

A Little Loosey Goosey Low-Carb Newsy
http://www.carbwire.com/ 2008/ 05/ 11/ a_little_loosey_goosey_lowcarb_newsyA Little Loosey Goosey Low-Carb Newsy Posted by Jimmy Moore on May 11 in In The News I feel like I've been playing catch-up for over a month with so much to blog about and no time to do it. ow, bloody, ow
http://www.beyondelsewhere.ca/ ?p=1354It is very likely that I just broke my big toe falling on my sister’s front cement steps. I am currently lying on the couch, with ice on my toe and using the world;s tiniest laptop. It is very hard to type on this thing in this position, so I think I will stop. I am in tons of pain and do not know what to do about work tomorrow.

Partisans, poseurs, cynics and pollen
http://fdhub.net/ partisans-poseurs-cynics-and-pollen/You bet I’m angry about silly rumors being spread that Hillary promised White House sleep-overs to Rush Limbaugh and Rev. Wright … naturally, not on the same night. Marathon presidential primary season update: Angry talk about politics has been wafting about in the springtime air like pollen.

Saturday
http://randomramblings23.wordpress.com/ 2008/ 05/ 11/ saturday/Playing around the house… Mostly this went well, until Mean-Mommy did a terrible thing and wouldn’t let Snowflake play with her new friend, a bumblebee. I know, I’m cruel. She was holding it quite gently and everything. Hmmm. I swatted it away and she screamed in fury. Please don’t judge me too harshly.
