Short review: Extracurricular Dances 2008
http://www.indyish.com/ short-review-extracurricular-dances-2008For the 15th year, Tangente has opened its new season with Extracurricular Dances, a program of short pieces by recent graduates of Montreal dance schools. Of course the works are a tad uneven, but overall there is plenty of good stuff to make it worth the price of admission.

Fringe Review: Dance @ Venue 1 - Part 2

The first piece, Carrots on the Brain, was created for an in situ performance with three dancers in the Concordia EV building. While it worked beautifully there, its transformation into a solo in a conventional space robs it of what was most interesting about it.

Looks like the perfect time to check out dance or theatre or whatever-you-call-that performance, especially since all of the shows at these events are cheap or even free.
