Maria del Rosario Espinoza from Mexico has won the gold medal in the women’s 67kg plus division of taekwondo. Nina Solheim from Norway won the silver medal. Sarah Stevenson from Great Britain and Natalia Falavigna from Brazil won bronze medals.

Kyungseon Hwang from South Korea has won the gold medal in the women’s 67kg taekwondo. Karine Sergerie from Canada won the silver medal. Sandra Saric from Croatia won the bronze medal together with Gwladys Patience Epangue from France.

Son Tae-jin from South Korea beat Mark Lopez of the United States, 3-2 to win gold in the men’s 68kg division of the taekwondo. Servet Tazegul from Turkey and Yu-Chi Sung from Chinese Taipei won bronze medals.

Sujeong Lim from South Korea has won the gold medal in the women’s 57kg taekwondo. Azize Tanrikulu from Turkey won the silver medal. Martina Zubcic from Croatia picked up the bronze along with Diana Lopez from the United States.

Did you watch that taekwando match between the Philippines’ own Tshomlee Go and Australian Ryan Carneli yesterday? Go lost the first-round match of the 58kg men’s division, by half-a-point! This means he can only win the bronze medal.
