Clarksville Academy’s school year is off to a brisk start, with new programs, activities and announcements for families and the community. The school mission is to promote academic excellence, moral integrity, and physical and social growth.

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. — Stand-up comedian Lewis Black will perform as part of his Comedy Central Live “Let Them Eat Cake” tour at 8 p.m. Sept. 7 in Purdue University’s Elliott Hall of Music. Purdue’s Student Concert Committee is presenting the performance, which is produced by Live Nation.

The Clarksville Transit System will hold a public hearing this evening (August 11) at 5:30 p.m. at the Clarksville Public Library to seek public input on proposals that include the elimination of transfers and a requirement to pay a full second fare for trips requiring a change of buses.

A question I received: Rather than the “punishment” related articles, I would like to read more about how a student of Kabbalah should not be drawn into being a little more isolated than the norm. Surely some hermit-like behavior is inevitable when one is in a “virtual group,” physically isolated from Kli participants and not particularly interested in spending too much time in idle chit chat.
