    Long Drive - Short Distance

    http://mobilitysite.com/ 2008/ 05/ long-drive-short-distance/

I’m on a quick trip and I had a long drive yesterday with only a short distance traveled because of rain, a couple of car accidents and incredible traffic in Connecticut and New Jersey. I can’t imagine anyone traveling like this on a daily basis but I am sure it was just a fluke of weather and Friday traffic.

    Ferangi Merchant Problem

    http://www.daniweb.com/ forums/ thread124699.html

Hi, I wonder if anyone has seen a solution for a similar problem or can think of a better solution than this. I initially tried to use Floyd-Warshall with a MAX function instead of MIN but the result was not as expected. If one could make that work it would be optimum.

    Concisely operating with ternaries

    http://thediscoblog.com/ 2008/ 05/ 17/ concisely-operating-with-ternaries/

One of my favorite features in Groovy is its hip ? operator, which facilitates Nullpointer navigation safety– while this feature isn’t available directly in Java, there is a handy Java operator that I’ve found myself using more and more these days based upon my dynamic language conditioning of preferring code terseness: the ternary operator.
