I see Peter Dunne reckons he is here for the silent majority. I’m not sure they’re here for him?  I really feel sorry for the silent majority the way everyone presumes to speak on their behalf. “Our pledge is to bring their voice to the government’s table, and to make sure it is reflected in the government’s decisions,” Mr Dunne said.

This new ad by John McCain is soooooo Virgo. Remember the negative attacks by Hillary, intense and dramatic. The Virgo attack, however, is text-book passive-aggression, judgement and martyrdom. Everybody on the Internet is an expert, at least if you let them tell it. And everybody who self proclaims to be anybody knows somebody else who is a self appointed guru. Still, there are a few guys who are like EF Hutton - when they speak I listen. I’m not a fool! The way I figure it is like this.

A lot of progressive and/or feminist blogs such as these ones were pointing out this poll done by Ipsos-Reid commissioned for Canwest Global which showed that 2/3 of Canadians polled supported giving Dr. Henry Morgentaler the Order of Canada.
