Now in the actual movie, the Octopus is a timid/insecure lab assistant who turns himself into a cole’ blooded killer.

Doug Liman - “Jumper” (2008)

I’ll read the book however. Just tell me how a thief and a liar can end up having a nice life? Even if he is tracked by the Paladins who wants to kill him, it is not a sufficient reason for him to enjoy such a cheat life.
