Several reports from consumers have been found to have accidents linked to old tires being sold at many tire centers across the world. Even newly installed tires that have been manufactured years before they were installed onto vehicles have the potential to fail miserably soon after installation.

May 10, 2008 Mother’s Day is tomorrow, May 11, 2008; and shoppers are gearing up for the upcoming holiday. To help retailers of all sizes, the National Retail Federation (NRF) recently released its 2008 Mother’s Day Consumer Intentions and Actions Survey, conducted by BIGresearch, showcasing positive results for the holiday.

I finally got a day off to go fishing. My computer here at work got a nasty bug that took the tech guy all day to fix. So I took the day off and went fishing. I caught two really nice small mouth bass and I can’t count how many crappie and blue gill. Oh and two catfish.

There are still plenty of spots open for the June course.  I just talked with Barry over at Bemidji Community Education, and the sign-up list for June currently holds 14 names.  You can find the dates for the June course as well as July and August on the 2008 Courses page at the top left.

Ok once again this week has been great! I got moved into my new house. I still have a lot of things to unpack and find places for but I love it! Last night I was putting together one of the end tables I told you I got in the $50 experiment. I’m glad nobody was there to see me.

Have you ever wondered what people are really thinking? As a principal, counselor, administrator, school board member, or teacher, a lot of faith is put into the idea that we are doing a good job and the people we work with feel the same way.

This has been a really good week. I spent a lot of my time packing to get ready for the big move, but I did get a chance to work on the $50 wholesale experiment. It seems like here lately everybody keeps talking about how bad the economy is getting and that were about to go into a recession.

Today Monday, April 28, 2008 Stimulus checks will start going out. If the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) has an individual’s direct deposit information on file, the stimulus check will be deposited into their account, and if not, it will be mailed out.

The smart fortwo was recently crash tested by the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).  It received five out of five stars for its ability to protect occupants during side crashes.

Internet Shoppers, as a rule, are not stupid. Although the Internet Shopper tends to be an instant-gratification junkie (like me), they will check around before pushing the order button. They are going to go all the way through your order process, until they get the FINAL price.
