Don’t abandon your children Posted on November 21, 2008 by Rusty Lindquist Today Nebraska lawmakers voted (43-5) to change the state safe-haven law.  All 50 states have these safe-haven laws, allowing parents to leave infants at a hospital anonymously without fear of prosecution.  They were passed in an effort to prevent unwanted babies from being abandoned in less safe locations.

    Miscellaneous News

    http://snunes.blogspot.com/ 2008/ 11/ miscellaneous-news_21.html

Parents overwhelmed with their children, not only because of financial pressures, but often because they have NO support for children with emotional problems, found Nebraska's "safe-haven" law the only answer. Nebraska changed its law to allow only babies up to 30 days to be covered.
