BOYDS – State Del. Craig Rice (D-Germantown) hosted his 1st annual Family Fun Day on Saturday. The fundraiser, which was held at the South Germantown Recreational Park featured bounce houses, music and food. Admission was priced at $50 per family of four, $25 per individual and $500 for sponsors.

The show features 12 teams of varying dogs and their people, who will live together and compete for a$250,000 cash prize and the title, Greatest American Dog.

Maxim Reznik, the leader of the St. Petersburg branch of the liberal Yabloko party, has been freed from pre-trial detention, the Sobkor@ru news agency reports. On March 21st, a St. Petersburg city court accepted the appeal of Reznik’s attorney, and agreed to change the way the politician was being restrained.

On March 4th, a Russian regional court sentenced the leader of the St. Petersburg branch of the liberal Yabloko party to two months behind bars. According to sources within the party, Maxim Reznik is charged with assaulting a police officer, and is being held in pre-trail detention.
