New Light installed here a free comdom vending machine. Kalighat is one of the biggest red light areas in India. A lot of men came everyday to have sex with the mothers.

This is one of the oldest red light areas of Kolkata housing sex workers from the city, the districts and neighbouring countries like Nepal and Bangladesh.
