Well, I don’t relish raining on conservatives’ celebratory parade after Tuesday’s primary victories here in Nevada, but a commitment to fair analysis requires that I do just that.   Though from one point of view conservatives “won” with the ousting of three tax-raising Republican assembly reps,

Well, the results for the Michigan 13th Congressional District could not get much tighter.  I’m guessing that Kilpatrick WILL maintain her lead, since Detroit is often the last one to have precincts come in, and this is where her support will be the strongest, but this is by no means a call for who will win - it’s still WAY too close.  Here are the results as of 12:15 A.M.

Representative Carolyn Kilpatrick Now Down 6% with 51% Reporting

    http://inkslwc.wordpress.com/ 2008/ 08/ 05/ representative-carolyn-kilpatrick-no…

Here are the results for the 13th Congressional District in Michigan with 176/343 (51%) precincts reporting, as of 10:40 P.M. EDT: Mary Waters 12,308 40% Carolyn Cheeks Kilpatrick 10,567 34% Martha Scott 7,866 26% Still too close to call, as Kilpatrick has caught up.  This is VERY close, but I’m thinking that Wates could actually pull this off.
