Renaming the paradigm *UPDATED*
http://www.bookwormroom.com/ 2008/ 05/ 13/ renaming-the-paradigm/I’ve decided it’s time to jettison entirely the words “Left” and “Right” when used with reference to political ideologies. I got hammered! (Book Review)
http://coax1974.blogspot.com/ 2008/ 05/ i-got-hammered-book-review.htmlLooking for a rousing post-apocalyptic yarn (I'm a sucker for that end of the world fiction jazz), I stumbled across various reviews of Lucifer's Hammer. SIGMA
http://twistedone151.wordpress.com/ 2008/ 05/ 02/ sigma/Here’s a brief article on SIGMA, the loose group of science fiction authors (including Larry Niven, Jerry Pournelle, and David Brin) who are offering free advice to government on how to protect the nation. It’s actually rather funny.

Involuntary Organ Donation
http://mithras.blogs.com/ blog/ 2008/ 04/ involuntary-org.htmlThis kind of brainstorming is now "a fixture at Department of Homeland Security science and technology conferences": Among the group’s approximately 24 members is Larry Niven, the bestselling and award-winning author of such books as “Ringworld” and “Lucifer’s Hammer,” which he co-wrote with SIGMA member Jerry Pournelle.

Global Warming
http://salemtherat.wordpress.com/ 2008/ 04/ 24/ global-warming/This is a piece ripped unashamedly from Jerry Pournelle’s blog (http://www.jerrypournelle.com/view/2008/Q2/view515.html#Thursday): Phil Chapman makes Fox News http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,352241,00.html Until recently the Maunder Minimum and the Little Ice Age were thought to have a connection.

Science Fiction can Predict the Future!
http://patriotwarrior.org/ 2008/ 04/ 15/ science-fiction-can-predict-the-future/…This blog is something that I have been batting around in my head for a while now, and me sitting down to write it coincides perfectly with the conclusion of my term papers and Darren’s latest blog. Sci-Fi writers can see the writing on the wall.
