bluff-->show hand?!
http://www.leggopoker.com/ forums/ poker-theory/ bluff-show-hand-2104.htmlhey guys, i want to know what people here thinks about showing your hand after a big bluff. i sometimes (really not very often) do that for inducing some tilt or induce players call me wide in the future. Maybe showing hands give away an extra information to your opponent and this is alway bad against good players..

how to play big draws
http://www.leggopoker.com/ forums/ poker-theory/ how-play-big-draws-2064.htmlI run into this situation a lot and am never sure how to play it: Let's say I have AhQh and raise from UTG and get flatted by the BTN. Flop comes Kh8h4c. Do you cbet? C/r? B/c? I know there are a thousand scenarios depending on reads and everything but I feel like when I have strong draws I'm either losing big pots or winning small ones.

Deepstack poker musings, Part 1
http://shrike-patternrecognition.blogspot.com/ 2008/ 05/ deepstack-poker-musings…The more I study poker away from the tables, and the more time I spend playing deepstack NLHE or PLHE cash games, both live and online, the more I recognize that it is this form of poker that appeals to me the most. And in part because I like this type of game so much, I find that I am more consistent at playing my A-game in these games as compared to other poker games.

Playing 4bet pots
http://www.leggopoker.com/ forums/ poker-theory/ playing-4bet-pots-2038.htmlYesterday I was playing someone HU who kept calling my 4bet OOP with all sorts of hands. This player played pretty strange in my opinion because when I raised to 6 he alawys made it 27 (when he 3bets) and when I open to 4 he would make it 20. Because he was doing this with pretty high frequency I started 4betting him alot.

cheap poker problem
http://www.jigsawdust.com/ ?p=37A few months ago, I put $100 into an online poker site, ultimatebet.com. I had read a couple of books and practiced playing in the free rooms for a couple months, in order to gain a basic understanding of theory of game play. I wanted to start in the very cheap rooms (.10-.20) before moving into the rooms where the pots are a bit more substantial.
