The last day or so has been warm and sunny in the main with a little rain today. Although the lake is looking very ‘fishy’ we are still not getting any feeding pattern establish itself for the carp. The odd fish comes at the most unexpected times and when it seems all is right for them to feed they are noticeable by their absence.

Last night I did a show at a club in King Cross called The Lincoln. It was a great night and their first week of shows with the hot female dance troup - The Dirty Pretty Jewels. The place was heaving post fashion-week and the show went off. The girls perform there regularly on Friday nights and do a unique blend of burlesque.

As I often point out to people...my favorite people in movies, books, and TV are the troubled, ill-fated, doomed characters. "Happily ever after" sucks. There is just something hauntingly beautiful about a character that isn't going to be okay. People who are so passionate, the world can't seem to hold onto them.

Our group planned to meet at the hotel reception desk at 6:00PM so that we could head out to our first Contiki Optional. The optional was a dinner and Cabaret show in Paris called Nouvelle Eve. At first I debated on going, but when I realized that 48 of the 50 some odd people were going, I made the decision to go and now I’m so glad that I attended.

maaaan i was SICK yesterday. it was pretty scary. i haven’t been that physically sick in a couple of years. thankfully though, i got to eat something today since my stomach has settled down. i’ve got some incredibly bad back pain though, so i hope that starts to get better with all the muscle relaxants and stuff.
