a quick one: keeping your place clean

a quick one: keeping your place clean May 11th, 2008 You know, I’m not one to toot my own horn, but I keep my home, car, and office pretty clean and tidy. I’d like to think that this comes naturally to me, but it really doesn’t. It takes a concerted effort to keep the cobwebs out of my brain and out of my living space.

My sister said I looked like my brother. Le sigh. I can’t wait until it gets longer, so i’ll have an unbridled mane of curly hair.

    Categorize your Mess

    http://www.chiperoni.org/ wordpress/ archives/ 2008/ 04/ 10/ categorize-your-mes…

Stumbled across this article on messiness at Green Tea Ice. Some categories of mess: MINIMESS — A contained, clearly delineated pocket of mess within a larger area, as on a counter, in a closet or a drawer, or on a bulletin board or a refrigerator. CYCLICAL MESS — A mess that waxes and wanes in cycles.

Churches Can’t Be Effective and Efficient at the Same Time; Nothing Can

    http://www.davidfoster.tv/ ?p=726

One of the real dilemmas in a growing church, or an effective church – a church that reaches its mission – is that it’s always changing and therefore creating differing levels of chaos. Growing things change. Changing things cause friction.

The Boys are Back in Town

    http://willfulgrace.blogspot.com/ 2008/ 03/ boys-are-back-in-town.html

A long time ago, in a land far far away, being greeted by this scene as I entered my kitchen bright and early in the morning would have put me in a disgusted, feeling-put-upon frump for the better part of the day.

    The Contemporary Domestic Deity

    http://professionalhousegirlfriend.wordpress.com/ 2008/ 03/ 11/ the-contemporary…

I wasn’t telling the whole truth when I said earlier that I had no real creative output to speak of. In a way, the hellraising career of a liberal young woman swallowed up in the enormity of London has gone through a sort of hiatus for me: Little over two years ago, I found out I was 18 weeks pregnant, at the tender age of 23.

    Tags made visible explained

Here’s an article that cracks the code on Bestiario’s ultra-cool tagcloud visualizers (AKA 6pli). I still have no ear (so to speak) for the graphical display of information, but this article helps. Share This

    And Chaos Reigns Supreme

    http://broseoseike.wordpress.com/ 2008/ 03/ 03/ and-chaos-reigns-supreme/

I sit before my computer, surrounded by the debris of a month of not actually putting anything away. I hear, out of the corner of my eye (and I am aware of the metaphor cross) the merest crinkle, the lightest warning.

    Messy Mouths

This is a test. Can you tell me which one is three and which one is two? It's tricky.

    STAACH Table 2 - Black

    http://designcrack.com/ v2/ 2008/ 02/ 19/ staach-table-2-black/

STAACH Table 2 - Black Dinner last night was fantastic. Just a few friends and a home cooked meal. We sat around a beautiful table and talked about work, reality t.v., and a certain pop star with some serious issues. I doubt dinner around the coffee table would have been so memorable, probably because of the table height, and our innate messiness.
