Because I have 5.  5 types of mustard.  Strangely I eat mustard, oh I don’t know, 6 times in a year, half of those times are at other’s peoples houses too!  Does that necessitate 5 types of mustard?

The Merchants of Cool has been previously discussed here on the blog earlier in the quarter. By tapping into the youth market through market research targeting youth trends and belief systems, retrieving information to adapt and stay ahead of the curve.

The mook is a media Construction. To me, a mook is someone who almost isn’t real. These are people who do crazy things like jumping off a building with a skateboard and, as shown in the documentary, take a swim in the sewer. I think boys (and girls of course) find that funny but rarely want to recreate it.

Blogging NOC07: More Mookish Behavior by MTV Flying to San Diego to give the “Mooks, Midriffs, Myspace & More” seminar at the National Outreach Convention, a scene on a new MTV show caught my eye (thanks to JetBlue). A college-aged guy was getting his genitals waxed on camera, in front of a mixed group of guys and girls who relished in his agony.
