I'm loving music lately. I've never been one to get really into music, but I think I'm changing my ways. I'm all about live music these days - which is also a good way to break the bank... I guess sitting at work all day long and listening to music for some of it has made me want to explore a little more.

A message from Matt Nathanson On May 27th at 7PM PST Nathanson will perform to a live, global, audience at the world’s first interactive on-line concert venue. The free concert will showcase tracks from his record Some Mad Hope, as well as live interaction between Nathanson and his fans.

So its no secret that LB and I went to school together, well our lovely little school Elon University, had a concert by Matt Nathanson apparently and he wrote an impromptu song about our school and some random posted it online. Oh You Tube.

Proper labeling May 10th, 2008 Today I went to see Matt Nathanson and Collective Soul at KFOG’s KaBoom show. They were each a lot of fun, although I’m still not huge on the whole big outdoor concert thing. It seems like so much energy is lost.

Augustana - Can’t Love… Can’t Hurt ( Release Date: 4/29/08 ) So back in 2006, when I was contemplating my move to Boston, was right around the time that Augustana released their song BOSTON. How appropriate (if you don’t read the lyrics of the rest of the song)! So that soon became my theme song for my move and will forever be associated with this portion of my life.

what happened to that? it comes from matt nathanson. my new heartbreaking song. i like them songs like that. and listen and listen and listen. and it means something more. because you see, now it feels like some sort of melancholy. some sort of goodbye. some sort of forgotten goodbyes.

Spring fling was yesterday, I didn’t spend much time at the day part though because I was completely K.O.ed by my allergies (which are thankfully gone now).  I did manage to drag myself out two see two of the musical performances that night.

Got this on my mailbox today… just trying to help spread the word.  I know most of you are all dog lovers.  Our neighbor has lost her Chihuahua and is desperate to find him.  She does a lot of traveling and always takes her dog with her.
