The time was 8:35am! He’d arrived home after a long night on the graveyard shift. Tired and blurry-eyed he slides beneath the cool sheets and covers of his bed and rests his head upon his pillow. Gathering in the comfort as if he were sipping a fine wine the phone rings.

California’s Gay Marriage Ban was banned today by the California Supreme court! In the 4-3 decision, the court ruled that Proposition 22, a ban on gay marriage, is unconstitutional. This is great news for people who, you know, like, care about equal rights or whatever!

Maybe its because we’re so close to owning our own home. Maybe its because I’m home dying from a cold. Maybe its because I don’t want to clean my house. For whatever reason, I have decided today, actually about 5 minutes ago, that I do not like my landlords. Sure, they’re nice enough.

So you know for the letter S there are LOTS of words we could look at today in our search for better understanding how to respect our husbands, right? Like a zillion. Well, I'm not going to look at a zillion. I'm going to keep it down to, oh, say, 100.
