Okay, I was sick on Friday so this is coming at you late. I know I should be drawn and quartered, but where else will you get this info? (That’s a rhetorical question, by the way.) Digg is launching a new comment system soon. Maybe I’ll use it more often now that it will be more user friendly.

Mark Wielgus created last year in August a mash-up script for YouTube, Amazon.com and Ebay.com and released the code for free under the Creative Commons Share Alike licensing model at his blog 45n5.com. I am interested into data feeds and web services myself and have extensive resources on my website about this subject available, including a reference to Marks script.

If you weren’t already aware, Alexa just instituted an update to their rankings - with pretty dramatic changes for many websites out there. A case in point: My blog’s 3 month ranking had been 70,655  (still captured at Mark Wielgus’ Top 100 blog rankings)  - it’s now 157,638.

Joel Comm launched AdSense Secrets 4.0 last week to fanfare and a subsequent firestorm. The day after the release of AdSense Secrets 4.0, Mark Wielgus posted a video at 45n5.com, Adsense Secrets Scam Alert, where he took Comm to task for a tactic in the sales process where buyers were also opting in for a subscription that would be billed $29.95 every 30 days.

How much time it may have taken him to compile that list!

I was just chatting with Jim Kukral about some of the recent happenings in the online marketing world and he directed me to the 45N5 Blog by Mark Wielgus where he pointed out some interesting facts about the new Adsense Secrets launch from Joel Comm. I wanted everyone to have a heads up because I promoted the opportunity on this blog.

The team for the next Affiliate Summit in Boston this August is all sorted out now. We have a couple returning all stars in Mark Wielgus as the Blog Room Captain and Jim Kukral as the Master of Ceremonies. New additions this time around will be Sam Harrelson as the Minister of Social Media Information, and Tris Hussey as the Photographer.

Lisa Picarille wrote a post yesterday, “Videoblogging: Is it a Man’s World?,” about how the majority of video blogging affiliate marketers are men. Revenue has published many articles on the merits of using video as an online marketing tool.

The video that I’ve posted below from 45n5.com was very interesting and thought provoking. I’ve considered making several websites and cashing in on the smaller profits rather than focusing only on AndrewPavelski.com.

Mark Wielgus, who blogs and video blogs at 45n5.com, has created a genius of a music video in tribute to affiliate video bloggers.
