    http://podblack.com/ ?p=961

Flicking back through my records, I noticed a list that was first started by Daniel Loxton on Facebook, recommending some good films for skeptics. He suggested: Leap of Faith -  with Steve Martin, loosely based on the Peter Popoff faith healing scam.

What were they treated to? FAIL. Creatively, Believe is a possibly unsalvageable "waste of time" and a "dead end" that literally bored some audience members to sleep.

    http://lpcprof.typepad.com/ law_and_magic_blog/ 2008/ 09/ interrelated-magic-law…

Idealawg has this post about the link between magic and negotiation, pointing to this Science Daily article about the science behind magic. More of interest: how magic can give one confidence (but you knew that!), how belief in witchcraft serves a psychological need, neurology and magic, and the workings of the eye and magic.

So magician David Blaine isn’t exactly upside down 24/7 for 60 hours straight isn’t exactly what he’s really doing.  Apparently he’s upright every hour for roughly 10 minutes to drink, pee, and get medical checkups.
