A Rock Opera This Friday May 12, 2008 This Friday over at the Lo-fi Performance Gallery should be an entertaining one. Headlining the night is Discs of Fury, who are releasing an EP and who are also performers of their very own rock opera.

Capcom has sent out a boatload of new screens for the much anticipated Street Fighter VI. This set features Balrog, Vega, M. Bison and Sagat. Every screen from this game just looks better and better and I'm really digging a lot of the new character models.

Street Fighter IV was originally announced way back in October 2007 and since then, Capcom has been slowly leaking out tidbits of information for the fighting game public. We’ve seen an incredibly muscular and bulgy Ryu, the re-emergence of some retro favorites, and the introduction of a luchadore too.

Street Fighter II is widely credited with launching the fighting genre into the mainstream and extending the life of the worldwide arcade scene for several years with its unique six button “combo” controls and revolutionary “loser pays” competitive game play.

Capcom have announced the main cast for the upcoming Street Fighter film adaptation. You may remember a while back when we told you Kristin Kruek would be playing Chun-Li. Now we have names attached to Balrog, M. Bison, Vega and Charlie Nash. So far, the cast consists of the following thespians: Chun-Li: Kristin Kreuk.

Ok, so maybe the title of this post says nothing overly surprising. We have known for quite some time that the movie is doomed before it even hits theaters because 1) it is based on a video game, and 2) the video game is Street Fighter.

Bison) and has plagued the big and small screen in many numerous mediocre films BUT!!!! his next film has definitely caught my eye….
